Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
A baby was strapped to my back, while the other crawled in the playground. I spent 12 hours days for months sanding and removing wallpaper, with one child. Ha! It was beginning to make sense, but was far from finished. To complete this task, I was prepared to shell out a substantial amount of time and money looking for my dream house. To keep the budget in check, I began attending estate sales with my three sons to find diamonds in the rough. Every week, we spent the week of Thursday through Saturday at estate sales and garage sales purchasing old and brand new furniture. In the end, I stenciled and polished the driveway in the week. The look was similar to it... That's where my passion for restoring furniture began. Although our house had been equipped, I couldn't quit. I also had a booth at the market, where I would sell objects. There were so many pieces I didn't have a clue what to do with them and I outgrew my space. My home was where I began hosting open houses in which more than 1000 guests could visit and buy any item they wanted from the first floor over the course of a weekend. Growing Days is the result from this. Growing Days was not only an extremely successful company, it was as well my family. Finding the balance was important to me. I wanted to balance being a mother and also a successful business owner. Growing Days just fit. Nora my 4th child was born in the year 2013. I loved where my business was heading but I needed a break. I made the decision to take some time off from my vintage furniture and be at home with my children. It was time. But after a couple of months after that, the phone began to ring. I began receiving messages from individuals asking to help with their home improvement and interior design. It was mostly those who came to my open residence to buy furniture. It didn't seem long until I was managing a full-scale house renovation business. The first step was to take clients in a manner that I felt confident in. When you first told me about your home remodeling business, I laughed. It's true that I smile when I think about the idea.
